10 of the Year’s Top Short Documentaries
October 24, 2019 | Los Angeles, California – Cinema Eye Honors announced the ten short documentaries that will vie for the 2020 Honor for Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Short Filmmaking. The ten shorts include many of the year’s award-winning festival films, including prize winners from Sundance (Ghosts of Sugar Land), AFI DOCS (St. Louis Superman), Palm Springs (Lowland Kids) and DOC NYC (In the Absence). Theo Anthony, the director of the Shorts Listed 30 for 30 film Subject to Review, returns to Cinema Eye after being previously nominated for his debut feature, Rat Film.
